University Psychiatric Associates offers advanced drug treatment to help people recover from heroin and opiate addiction. Suboxone/Zubsolv has been proven to be an effective means of treating drug addiction. Suboxone and Zubsolv work to diminish withdrawal symptoms and alleviate painful drug cravings. This is the first step in restoring normal day to day functioning and allows the process of successful recovery to begin.
The Suboxone/Zubsolv program begins with a medical assessment by a Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist (CCNS) and Psychiatrist/Addictionologist. The program combines medical treatment with behavioral, education, and coping skills strategies. After the assessment a tailored plan is developed to enhance the recovery process from heroin and opiate addiction. After the induction process to the Suboxone/Zubsolv treatment, clients will be seen by either the CCNS or physician 1-2 times a month to diminish the risk of relapse.
